i'm really tempted to get the Time RXL pedals. as far as i can tell, they're the same exact thing as the RXS, except marketed toward female riders.
i inadvertently wound up with the female specific time atac mtb pedals last year and i'm convinced they are exactly the same as the regular ones.
man, i just really like the fact that they're baby blue.

I rode both looks and SPD-SLs and went with the shimanos. If for nothing else, the cleats are WAY easier to walk in.
Did look fix that problem with the keo or are the cleats still just a piece of hard plastic?
And if anyone is worried about pulling out of the shimanos (Lance and a few other pulled out of theirs during the tour a few years ago and people have been scared of them since), Theo Bos rides them now.

haha, very clever.
the only difference i've heard claim of is that the release tension was designed for lighter riders to clip in easier, but they say this is done by lowering the spring tension mechanism.
normal time pedals tend to claim to have a higher spring tension attained by - wait for it - raising the spring tension mechanism!
perhaps deep down there is some merit to this, and since i want a pair for track season, i'm probably not gonna go with them just to be safe. (also the '08 models totally don't match my bike)

Yeah, those look like Bontrager knocks off of Shimano/Dura Ace's design.
Tim, yeah for '08 the Keo cleats now have grippy rubber on the bottom.
Im sure the Bontrager/Ritchey/Whatever pedals will work pretty well. But My money goes to the tried and true original developers (I run Keos).

For ~ $55 105 SPD-SL's off PBK. You really can't beat that. It's almost cheaper to buy a new set of pedals than to buy replacement cleats for them.
Unless they are ridiculously cheap, I wouldn't buy them. Buy ridiculous I mean free.

As for Theo Bos, he doesn't use SPD-SLs, he uses SPD-Rs, as do most sprinters at the international level.
