With gatorskins, I would go through one every 3 months or so with hardly any skidding. Just commuting would flatten out the tread. The felt really good and had descent puncture protection. And I got them for $16 each.

Gatorskins sound good, where can I find them for $16 dollars!? I can only find them for ~$40...should I try the eBay? Haha.

sorry. I didn't mention that I worked in a shop.

Are they really $40 now? They were $34 last spring. It's almost worth it just to get Grand Prix 4000's then.
