Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Here's a link to the mfr, though I'm sure you've visited many times before. It's a 62 - I'm a big boy now.
I don't think the Velodrome is going to be ready in April. I think that the downhill, 4-cross, and bmx terrain is going to be first, then the velodrome. I'm not positive though. I haven't been out that way in quite a while.

Bring that new bike down to play some polo on the weekend. Break that rig in quick.

New for my bike is that my friend borrowed my lock and now I ride with a wrench and take off a pedal when I go into a store, its not even a solid technique, but would you steal a bike with one pedal?

Me neither.

I won an old TTT titanium stem on eBay for my Lemond. I took some old SR bars off my girlfriends bike, and I'm going to pair them with this stem, so I can switch bars depending on the event. I also bought some yellow Deda tape to wrap the bars with, and it's few cushy. I'm sure I'll post pictures when the stem arrives.

The races here are run what ya brung. There's no fixed only rules in this one. I didn't ride in inversion this year, the alley cross thing sounded a bit to brutal.

I had a great day out in Akashi, talking to Kusaka San, and going through the colour swatches etc..for some restorations I am having done. 2 vivalos, including a 99 model with rey853 tubes, and very very old national, and an old windsor from the 70s, as well as a Nagasawa.
Spent a bit of time earlier tonight building up some photo shoot frames for my website. Spent an unhealthy amount of time admiring the track ends!
