Ripoff Run ins

So me and my friend are sitting in a coffeshop today, and he notices someone messing with our bikes outside. We watch as some G in ultra baggy pants unties the bandanna from the stem and walks off. My friend sprinted outside and got it back...
Cmon man, on easter? I mean I'm not religious, but still. And for a $2 bandanna? Sheesh.
My friends also took my handlebars off one night when my bike was parked downtown on a busy night. I thought they had actually gotten ripped off
Anyone else have rip off stories/stealing stories?

Bikes: so many

I steal spoke cards from my friends bikes and put them on my bike. It's funny. I always put them back if they don't realize who took them and steal them back themselves, mainly cause I don't want to ride around with spokecards.

My wife likes to put our chihuahua in a fake Louis Vuitton bag, set it on a bench, and watch it from across the street. Sure enough, someone walks by, stops and look around, picks up the bag, then drops it quickly when the dog starts barking. By this time my wife walks up and says, "I see you met my dog!" and they usually laugh nervously and walk away quickly.

Hardly a 'G' if his friend ran him down and got it back.

i've got spoke cards as memorabilia of past alleycats raced.

i think we all agree top tube pads took a turn for the downtrend somewhere near the middle to end of '07.

bandannas... always an easy target to lampoon on, never anything to dress your bike up with.

if you want flair... get streamers.

one time i bid on a sick iron maiden "fear of the dark" tour shirt on ebay. it turned out to be a cheap bootleg ripoff, and i paid $45 for it.
but yeah, if you ride around with a bandana tied onto your stem you deserve to have it stolen. you have pockets for that kind of lame hipster ****.

...if you're buying tour shirts on ebay for tours you didnt goto you deserve to pay $45 for a isht ripoff of a isht band. If you actually went to the tour and failed to buy a shirt...still...

ok first off: iron maiden is not a **** band... so get your facts straight cheif.
second off: how was i supposed to get a shirt from that tour? i was six.
third off: iron maiden is awesome.
fourth off: it was listed as "genuine iron maiden tour shirt" so tell me who's at fault there.
