Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Jeez, I hope you're kidding. That's some NEDM sh-t right there.

Anyway, she only did it once, and got 3 people in the space of 15 minutes, reaffirming her belief that people are thieving label wh-res.

All power ballads? You should let me croon and play the 12 string acoustic.
One time I tried an overweight old mall cop try and jack my ride cause I locked it to a light pole. He worked on my kryptonite chain for a while with his isht bolt cutters and then called it a day and turned around and went inside, presumably to get some young whippersnapper to do the job for him. His escapades had given me ample time to finish my coffee, so I walked over and unlocked my bike, at which time he came shuffling over to yell at me and i rode off.

I prolly woulda had a talk with the cop. Listened to what he had to say. MAN I wish I was a nonconfrontationalist.

Well, I suppose my thought was that I wasnt about to get into it with a crotchety old man. If he had gotten the chain off, I would have walked over and thanked him for unlocking my bike for me, taken the lock and bought a new piece of chain from a hardware store for 3 dollars. It was too funny watching him try and wrestle that lock with those bolt cutters.

Here the campus police go around and steal bikes at the end of the semesters. No notice or anything, random day. Pretty redic.

Anyways... i was contemplating taking my NY ulock and locking up on the day they do it and just video taping them having a time trying to get dat piece off.

hehehe. it'd be good youtube materials...
