Bikes: bfssfg iro--black.

looks nice. i dig the orange on orange.
the saddle looks a bit out of place though, black would fit in nicer.

but if you're riding the saddle color doesn't matter.

yeah I'm just into it because its orange in general, has springs, and is from my dad's old 3 speed that first got me riding again back in '03. This bike looks like it (orange with orange fenders) albeit the frame is nice, not an anchor

I like how there are spoke cards in the wheels as if you raced in alleycats on that thing!! It looks like a 1980's bike

Waiting on rims for the build.
Nexus Dynohub front and silent clutch rear.
Moustache bars
XTR cantilevers and old campy levers
Whatever saddle I have lying around
and cyclocross cranks. It should be interesting.

Considering the "stealth" nature of the bike, I know I should go with all black components, but I can't. Too boring for me.

Here's my Orange 52cm with parts stolen from my Surly Steamroller.

Back wheel is a 8sp (130mm) for now, I need to re-space my 120mm Surly to 132mm.

On the CX forum. As I recall, mods actually move the group buy thread off this forum and only there, which I thought was kind of stupid, since so few people read CX.

Unfortunately, I think most of these bikes are going to wind up in the mud at CX races, or used as everyday townies like the one above.

Bikes: Hummer H2

out of curiosity, why are these being set up brakeless? wouldn't a frame without front/rear canti mounts be more appropriate for something like that?
this frame screams freewheel cross or ss touring setup, not brakless with nitto drops...

Bikes: THE KIND WITH TWO WHEELS AND ONE GEAR

Bike 2 appears to have both a canti brake and a freewheel, hell there's a whole cassette back there

SS CX is what mine will be...
Might put a rack or some fenders on one day for touring duty.
My build will coast.

-might need some grips for that kind of riding. naked bars + rain = some interesting situations.

Same here. Although I wonder how often I'll end up taking the fenders off in reality. Looks fun as heck sitting there in the box.

Nice rides, don't like the tan saddle w/ orange, but as said it doesn't matter if you're riding on it.

Despite the cassette/borrowed parts, I really dig your look there chibi... I think it's the angle + bars *shrug* Those seat stays make me all gushy anyway so whatever...

Still waiting to hear about my frame shipment... but it's gonna be anytime now Mine will be a commuter/everywhere city bike for now, fenders an' all.
