I like the smile and wave approach too. Love the look of confusion it gets.

My fav though are the classic insult throwers who drive by. Being called a f@g the ever popular insult to cyclists for some reason. I caught up to a car of 4 goatblowers in a Sunfire once who were chuckling over their witty insult and calmly inquired how they came to be experts on what constituted a f@g. They didn'y get it and threw out the always devestating "well FU". Dumbf*cks.

on the way to the pub after an alleycat some crazy b@tch was honking at us to let her through while we were crossing the street at about .5mph. one of the girls from the race turned right around, cutting her off, and started rolling laps around the car. crazy b@tch yells "wtf are you doing?" girl on bike replies "riding circles around you." sounds kinda dumb, but f@cking funny for those at the scene. crazy lady yells "youre a f@cking"....something, cant remember and she just yells back "i love you!!!"
