Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

"My one is red."

When I had a red bike I used to say that all the time.

The other Monkey dust cartoons are pretty funny too.

Roadies don't run lights (in my experience) so there's a bit of messenger/ hipster thrown in there too.

I thought it was a pretty good comment on anyone who takes bicycling too seriously, roadie or otherwise.

The other two being the royal family and the spice girls?

One of these days sp00ki I am going to make an exact copy of your avatar except it will animate in alternating left and right and I will constantly post just below you to screw with peoples eyes.

I don't think I take it too seriously, though I do find a little of myself in that video - running lights, hurting animals. No cycling clothes please.

I didn't see anything about roadies in that video. They are all riding full suspension mtb's. what's the matter with you guys?

Anyway that was funny, A+

edit: Good God the rest of the monkey dust stuff is hilarious
