finished the preliminary build. the stem and brake lever will be updated.

took it around the block and almost fell off. Keep forgetting you can't coast.

aight, so another sizing question.

I got that 31/2 inseam, 5'10"3/4 in height... Should I go with the 53 or the 57 or wait a couple months for the 55? The 53 would be fine I think but for maybe my reach. I tried measuring my arm span and torso to get a good TT fit but I think my measuring was inadequate. I'm riding a 56cm frame right now but it feels a little short with my short stem and flipped/chopped short bullhorns. Would a 53 with a long reach stem do me well or should I just go with a 57?

I'm 5'9" with 32" inseam, I ride the 53cm. Top tube is 55cm which is what I have on my road bikes. I'll probably end up running a 120 or 130mm stem.

Actually using 75s will permanently damage your bottom bracket flux. You'll need to get a disc wheel to get then tandem bolts to accept the 144 bcd to work.

Yes, you can use 75s.

I have the Sugino RD's. They look great IMO, but the chainline with a 103 BB and Formula hubs is fux0red. You gotta swap the chainring on the inside, but I dont think it even looks much different...

I mean, I could have probably ran it as it was, but it was just really noisy, and I just want it to be smooth. The noise could also be because the chainring on my RD's is 3/32 and my cog/chain is 1/8.

Grrr.. I just ordered the black 50cm frame last week from BIKEISLAND.COM. And today the box arrived. It weighs about 4 lbs and measures 12x12x6. Inside are 2x 700c tubes and a bmx freewheel cog. They made a HUGE mistake. I'm so pissed off. I thought i was going to showoff my frame today.

*What a downer. At least send me a fixed cog. I just want to throw that freewheel cog at someone and drill holes in the tube with a 1 inch bit.

Does this order belong to anyone here? LOL

Anyone else out there finding they have to cut down the Pearl in order to get it to fit decently in the 50cm?
