Alien/Andel Cranksets

Can't find these anywhere online. Emailed Alien almost a week ago and they haven't gotten back to me yet. Ben's Cycles doesn't have the Andel cranks listed anymore.

Where else can I find this crankset? I'd prefer the 144 BCD to IRO's 130...

i ordered the cranks from alien a while ago while they were still out of stock, knowing it would be a while... just sent an email to make sure things were still in the works and got a quick response. maybe he just doesn't like you.

oh, but they're also sold under kazane's name, soma has a "hellyer" crank that's identical, i believe iro's cranks are the same... just look around. alien has the best price though.

Alian cranks are awesome for the price, but last time I emailed them I never got a response. I think they are having some growing pains. Not much available from them right now.

I emailed him a few weeks back. They were looking at a late April early May shipment of goods. So it really is any day now. No real alternatives to the price for the Aliens. I love mine.

but the kazane ones come in a bunch of different colors. i'm so tempted, being that the cranks are the only thing left from my conversion that hasn't been replaced on the kilo frameset.

I bought Alien and I'm very happy. If you buy the kazane for $125 you get a BB included.

that's the only reason i haven't pulled the trigger yet. it's gotta be 42mm. there's no way it wouldn't be.

If you look at the andel and Kazane they have the same look. I have Andel's and they are 42mm. You can buy the Andels with BB off ebay for $123 shipped

it looks nothing like the sugino. it is the exact 144bcd crankset that alien, iro, andel sell. its a perfect chainline.

i did the same thing gyesswho ^ did and put a FSA chainring on it. This is the best crankset for the money. I cannot tell any difference from my sugino75.

I was deciding between something like this or a Sugino 75/Grand Mighty myself.

yeah i don't want to buy these instead of the sugino 75 and be dissapointed i didn't spend the extra money.

in fact, that's reason enough to not buy them for me. if i'm going to spend enough money to starve myself over i might as well save up for the real deal njs track cranks.

To be honest, I don't care about NJS or stiffness. The Sugino 75 with a Zen rings look boss.

wait i didn't know these andel/kazane whatever were forged... the soma hellyer says it's cold forged... that would mean these are too? they'd have to be at "270 grams"

if it's just the njs stamp and name i'd rather buy the cheap ones that are 95% as nice...

Reason I didn't go for sugino is because I wanted a decent crankset to go on a decent frame.
