fix, you'll find these forums are pretty disappointing these days. lots of bad attutude and immaturity. i'm sure you can wade through it, but it gets old.
there is a better place now. more fun and way more knowledge which equals better discussion. i'll send you a PM.

This is nothing out of the ordinary. Confusion of this type tends to occur when one alternates punches of the F5 key in-between trolling message boards, Craig's List and eBay "fixie" auctions as a substitute to going outside and riding actually riding. Or going outside in general.

Actually in this case it a satirical remark based on my confusion over the disparity between a person who chooses the pseudonym "beatnik" but sounds like a goddamn bro.

Also, I wasn't trolling as a substitute for riding, it's a substitute for working. So pbbbt!

do you know anything about jazz history dumbass?

maybe you should go back to google...also while you are doing that, try to figure out if you can put an ISO taper crankarm on a JIS spindle. how is your chainline?

No, actually I don't. Care to enlighten me?

And the crank is sitting at the PO at the moment. I'm doing my almost-final build-up tonight. I can give you an update later, assuming you weren't just looking up my history for ammunition, which you probably were.

Even if he was, what's the difference? DarthVader is simply returning the Ad Hominem attack you were using in the first place. Cry me a river, build me a bridge and get over it. In case you didn't realize, a lot of people can read posts without having to post them as well - that is, he doesn't have to troll your posting history to make a comment about it.

Further, even in your ideal scenario, where he did troll your history for ammunition, that has absolutely no effect on the truth-values of his statements, and your response does not logically refute them either. Why does your update hinge on whether or not he was trolling your history? Let's be honest, you'll give the board an update either way, and he may or may not read, so even if he did "look up your history for ammunition" you may still end up giving him an update!
