I have the same problem, I hope its just a ****ty chain ring. Mine is pretty bad, I dropped a chain yesterday, good thing I was going slow, and had a brake. No damage.

I have the same problem. But for me its a uneven crank spider.

don't think so.

I tried a small ring and the tension was no even close to being maintained through a crank revlolution.

maybe with a deraileur/tensioner.

the difference may not be substantial, but there IS a difference.
