Bike Sizing help once again

Sorry for asking this again but I was trying to decide between a sputnik and bareknuckle but thought there were no sputniks anywhere. I found a shop with a 50 and 55.

I am wondering if either of those will fit me.

20.6 (52.4 cm) - 20.8 (52.9 cm) - c - c from above in inches

21.2 - 21.4 - c - t in inches

22.0 - 22.1 - top tube in inches from above

Sizing:
Gender M
Inseam 81 cm - 31.8 inches - standover
Trunk 71 cm - 27.9 inches
Forearm 30 cm
Arm 63 cm
Thigh 59 cm
Lower Leg 60.5 cm
Sternal Notch 141 cm
Total Body Height 174 cm

I am 5'9.

Here is the sputnik geo:

Will the 50 work or be too small? (55 ?) If not I guess back to planning my bareknuckle build.
thx again

Bikes: Cannondale Capo.

A 55 would fit you... and a 50 should be too small.

Can you try them at all?

it looks like the standover height for the 55cm is almost exactly what you want according to some fitting dogmas, but the only way you'll know is if you test ride them.

A bit worried about the stand over height on the 55.

Bikes: SE Lager, Specialized RockHopper x2

best thing you can do is go to the shop and check which is best fit for you.

I am so torn at this point. The issue that I have is that the shop is about 100 km away. I would have to bus down and bus back with the bike if possible. To add to my confusion is if I want to get the sputnik or bareknuckle. At first the sputnik made sense, good price, better steel, carbon fork. The cons were the geo and lower bb. Thinking I couldn't get one I started thinking bareknuckle which was nice in a way because I like the look, the fact that it has real track geo, higher bb and no logos or water bottle mounts. Now I realize the difference in bb height is almost nothing and the weight difference is almost nothing.

I also have a feeling if I don't go to the shop the sputniks will be gone before I know it (sold out from the dealer in canada, no other stores I called had them).

I don't want to spend $1000 bucks on a bike that doesn't fit me properly. I know with the sputnik I would replace the stem (think stock is too long), crank (170 stock is too long), seat post, and I already have wheels. The bareknucle I would build up from the frame. So at this point the prices are not so different ($900 complete for the sputnik, eai will be somewhere around $800, will find out tomorrow, could be cheaper). Confused!
