Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Peugeot crank problems

Well first of all im not to sure exactly which model I have so I found a pic of one this is pretty much the same bike. This is the exact frame I have.

OK, so right now I'm riding it SS 52t - 14t on the factory crank. About a week ago I was messing around on this really steep long loading ramp. I rode up it about 6 or 7 times but couldn't make it all the way up due to my gearing. Some where along the lines I bent my crank. I hear this rubbing noise on every down stroke of the pedals. So pretty much all the time. It doesn't get louder on either down stroke. I dont think i bent the chain wheel or a crank arm. Im pretty sure its something inside the bottom bracket. Visually I dont see anything. It looks like it turns true. Can someone point me in the right direction? I know its rebuild able. So does that just mean I need to get the tool to open it up and its pretty much the same idea of changing out the bearing retainers, ect. of a 1 piece crank? Also is there a place online to get the parts? I just got my first track bike so I put the Peug on the back burner but im starting to get pissed I cant ride it.

It does sound like something in the bottom bracket. It may just need to be adjusted. Or if it is a cartridge it may need to be replaced. Look here. https://www.parktool.com/repair/readhowto.asp?id=93.
It is most likely a loose ball bottom bracket so it will just need to be repacked and adjusted.
