Is it possible to remove machined sidewalls?
ok ok ok let me REPHRASE
i was under the impression that a machined sidewall, was a strip of metal around the edge of the rim, if im wrong then im wrong but thats what i was asking, if its possible to remove that strip of metal

Um, I don't understand what you are asking here.
Simple no.
Machined means that the side wall is "machined" done by what ever tool to make a braking surface.
You could paint over it, but to me thats just stupid.
I hope thats what your asking.

i used a brake on my aeroheads so they machined themselves. i went over them with a super huge magnum marker and it looks perfect.

just keep machining the sidewalls until they go away. problem solved. no more machined sidewall. i've seen quite a few denver kids who have done it.

yes, you can. if you send me your wheels and a small fee for labor, about 75 dollars, I will remove them for you. Just make sure to send the money and the wheels.

if you cut off the sidewalls really cleanly, you could have tubular rims!
