New Rider/New Frame. Needs some help.
So I recently bought an old, beat up, unidentified, beautiful, track frame to use for a fg/ss bike. I've been riding a friend's Cannondale road bike for some time and felt the need, like so many on this forum, to build my own bike from scratch. In the end I'm looking to build a complete bike with a front brake, multiple skid patches (just in case), standard drop handlebar, and gearing for a pretty hilly environment. All I know about the bike right now (size-wise) is that it is a 58 inch frame with a BB shell that is "70mm wide, with a 43mm outder diameter, 36mm inner diameter, and has right-hand threads on both sides".
Basically I need help. I need to know what kind of parts I need, and what further measurements I need. I'm talking wheels, gearing, stem, handlebars, tires, hubs, everything.
I know this is asking a lot, and I should probably be doing my own research, so any little thing will help
-max
oh, and if necessary, please hate on the noob, so that I can feel free to do so if i ever get my **** together
here's the frame

58 cm. not 58 in. other than that i don't have much to tell you but i'll try
gearing? maybe something like 42x17 for the skid patches and a lower gear for your hills.
as for wheels, if it's older it might have been designed for 27" wheels, and if it is you'll need brakes with long enough reach to use 700c.
