Taking a chain off.
I just picked up a bike yesterday. The fame is in good condition. The rest is not. I have never really stripped a bike before and was just wondering how to break/disassemble the chain. I think I'm gonna build it up into a single speed, so I won't need the chain again. Any tips will help. Thank you.
P.S. It's a Concord Raven. Does anyone know about these?

Congrats on getting the bike.. but remove the chain properly. Get a chain tool, park tool makes good ones, the ct-3 or ct-5 would be good. They also have instructions on the website. This type of tool is essential if your going to be building/converting a bike.
