wobbling back wheel

on my ride to work today i noticed my back wheel was wobbling a lot.
the wheel is pretty new and prob has around 100 miles on it or less.
it was spinning true a week ago but now the wobble is getting out of control.
if i let go of my front handle bars the bike just shakes.

i am thinking that my rim got bent some how or maybe it just fell out of true.

or maybe it was damaged when it was locked up and someone tried to tug on it while it was locked to the bike rack.

i am not sure what do u guys think?
i am going o have to hit up the lbs this weekend.

is the hub loose or is the rim actually warped?

yes, if you were to grab the wheel and wiggle it back and forth does it move, is there play?
when you spin the wheel look at it spin near the frame does the wheel stay spinning straight or does it get closer to the frame?

it is a 27 inch alumunum wheel. Almost positive the rim is double walled. Not sure of the name i got it from the bicycle station in brooklyn.
I am not 100 percent sure how it got this way but i think it might have something to do with the way i lock the back tire...i have been using sheldons brown locking stradgy pictured here:

i knew this wasn't the best idea but my kreptonite mini is the most secure lock i have and it is the only way to lock most of the bike up with this simple lock. in the future i will be reconsidering my locking stradegy.
i am not sure what else it could be...what do you think

i have a an evo mini too and i have just been locking up on the top tube...it is possible that someone yanked on the bike to get it free and messed the wheel up, i guess the lock did it's job

good luck on getting your wheel back in shape

do you think it is possible that the back wheel could have gotten damged with out anyone touching it. just leaning the wrong way on the lock over time?

i doubt it, your bike would have to be pretty heavy to damage a wheel just from leaning on it

i would think it would take a little more force to make the wheel all wonky

I am guessing it is not. Honestly, I don't think there is enough info to determine if the wheel is salvagable. However, since it is a 27' wheel, finding a nice used replacement, if necessary, should not be a big deal and it should be very cheap.
