I did well. I finished in 8:44 including lunch break, snacks and stopping to tighten the cranks 10-12 times.
Cranbury 200k results. I was the fastest fixed gear :-)

Cadence of 136 going 33 mph. Yeah it was super spinny. I got a 13.60 so it wasn't even fast too

Woof. I gotta make it out to the track one of these days so I can experience it myself. Looks like lots of fun.

Definitely recommend it. Super fun, and completely different from anything else cycling.

Thats on my list of things to do this summer -- there's a velodrome about 20-30mins away from me here in Denver. Hellyer was a TREK from SF which is why i never went but now, I don't really have an excuse

Yeah, for someone your age that's pretty slow. But for someone my age that's a pretty good time.

I assume hellyer has similar speeds as the SD Velodrome, given that they're both concrete and outdoor. I would ride a 51 or even 52/15 for a f200. I ride 50/15 for most mass-start outdoor events, and even I feel undergeared during points laps, for example.

Also this coming T is endurance night - my favorite. One long points and scratch per category.

It's weird, last year I was all about the road, this year, I'm all about the dirt.

Dirt has a way of making the road seem stupid even though it's not.

I have a feeling things might change a bit as Phoenix continues to get warmer. Moving at 8mph on a trail in 100+ degree heat is a bit more grueling than 18mph with the wind blowing in your hair...but damn, if it's not a blast to be barreling down a dirt hill at 20mph and hoping not to crash.

Of course my bruise and scar count continues to grow every weekend.

Great shots @SpeshulEd!

Nothing quite so exciting here in the Southeast. Just a lunchtime fixed gear ride today in my new favorite jersey.

That jersey is pretty sweet! I'm on hiatus from buying new kits at the moment, kind of went overboard last fall.
