5'11" ~34" inseam 59cm Mark V. Fit is one of the most comfortable bikes I've owned. FYI the Mark V 59cm only measures 55cm Center to Center. What makes the IRO sizing a little unusual is the long bit of seat tube that extends above the top tube, which in this case measures 59cm to the top of the seat collar.

If anyone has measured their seat tube from the collar to them middle of the bottom bracket and could let me know that would be great.
The most important thing in fitting road bikes is definitely the top tube length. You will have more clearance and a stiffer frame for throwing a round a bit easier with the smaller size. I imagine the worst case scenario is that you have to go with a zero offset seatpost to get your knee in the same place as your trek. The other thing might be troublesome is the difference in height between the handlebar and seat as it may be greater than what you are used to. Hopefully there is some adjustment in the spacers to allow you to make the IRO have the same amount of drop between seat and bars as your Trek.

All of this is assuming you fit your Trek well and like its fit.

This is a big point often overlooked. Generally, the Mark V frame has a shorter head tube than comparable frames of similar top tube. Also, it only has a 5cm drop which makes the head tube effectively shorter since your seat height is set with regards to the BB. And a lower front end makes the top tube even longer.

I just (this weekend) built up my Mark V. I (6'1", 34" inseam) was on the fence between a 59 and 62. My conversion had a 58cm top tube so I was dead in between sizes. I went with the 62 due to head tube height (and the $50 off for a '07 teardrop tube frame). After my initial test ride, I'm glad I did. With about 18cm of spacers and an 84* stem, I've got about 1"-2" of seat to handlebar drop which I find about perfect.

Oh, I run drop bars if that helps.
