Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I scored one on fabrichorse.com for something like $13 shipped. It's great

These holsters are very cool but I don't understand the utility of them since you can either 1. tuck the lock under your belt if its a mini or 2. lock the ulock to your belt so it hangs off. I've a full size ulock and have been happy with option 2 for years. What is the appeal in the holster? Aren't you worried about the lock bouncing up and out? You have to unlock the ulock to lock up your bike anyway so attaching it to your belt doesn't add any time or hassle. I suppose it would make "ulock justice" more difficult to administer but that's not a bad thing...

Bikes: masi speciale fixed (urrringe), haro f1 (black), haro x2 (red)

if it dangles around via option 2 doesn't it.. dangle around? slapping you in the leg and whatnot?

i did that once and it pissed me off. just kept bouncing off my thighs and ass.

Personally, jamming a u-lock under my belt kinda makes the small of my sore. And it eventually stretched the **** out my belt.
