Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Ride to look good, and make sure others can see how good you look, because riding for yourself is worthless.

Something to that effect

I think about getting my legs for ski season... feeling good/fit overall... being able to ride/run a decent(to me) distance and not be dying at the end... think about the burn my legs currently have on this effing hill and the top is right there - I can endure for a few more yards and then hit the flat... eating a bit more of what I want(vs what I need)... I'm not at my computer... fresh air... listening to everything drowned out by being in a car normally... to sum this up...

Life is too short, go ride your bike.
