Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Life's a dance you learn as you go
Sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow
Don't worry about what you don't know

"Bike the planet!"

Ususally if I'm pushing up a hill or something i like to think about some upbeat/inspirational music like "Remember the name" by Fort Minor or "The way you like it" by Adema.

Were no strangers to love
You know the rules and so do i
A full commitments what Im thinking of
You wouldnt get this from any other guy

I just wanna tell you how Im feeling
Gotta make you understand

Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

Weve know each other for so long
Your hearts been aching
But youre too shy to say it
Inside we both know whats been going on
We know the game and were gonna play it

And if you ask me how Im feeling
Dont tell me youre too blind to see

Give you up. give you up
Give you up, give you up
Never gonna give
Never gonna give, give you up
Never gonna give
Never gonna give, give you up

I just wanna tell you how Im feeling
Gotta make you understand

"Ride for yourself and not others"
sometimes I get a high off seeing others look at me riding fast and need to calm it down and make me focus

"Why pass when you can draft?" would also be a mantra of mine, insofar as I have any real mantras.
