Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Bikes: everywhere

I love that ANT too. I need one of those for when I retire and do nothing but tour. I think I'd rather have one with a Rohloff hub so I can run one of these card suits chainrings, though (speaking of one-piece cranks)

The only part that makes me sad is clincher rims and tires.

easy fix though, I reckon.

And downtube shifters. But the nostalgia is overwhelming.

Edit: Wheels are superfluous, too busy looking at other details. Unless the wheels cause a draw.

And Happy, either who you know, or how long you are willing to wait in line.

DT shifters? Huh? I don't think we're talking about the same bike. I'm talkin' about the clinchers on the Bishop.

As far as the ANT's concerned I got no problem with DT shifters there or clinchers for that matter.

Aye. Twas just generalizing.

When was the last time you ran across a pair of white tubbies?

Though, I am intrigued with the headset on the Bishop. The more that I look at it.

Having grown up near a wealthy area of CT, the people with any sort of real money never talk about having any. The people who make ~200k a year think they have money and will relish an opportunity to make sure you know it. That's the west coast though... no class old boy hurrumph (sips cognac)

yea i was mostly being sarcastic, but yes the big glass one. i have a habit of slowly getting closer and closer to the screen so my eyeballs feel like they are melting when i am done using the computer.

Vanilla had a killer booth at nahbs. Overall lots of belt drive and more bamboo than I expected. The Richard Sachsen booth was sick too.
