the GT is a real bike and what parts do you see drilled on the viner? i dont see any extra holes in the stem, post, chainrings, derailleur cages...

i cant find a weight on the viner frame but the very similar stainless steel cinelli is about 1400g+ so figure 1-1.5lbs less for a carbon frame. building a 13lb bike isnt that hard (just expensive)

a steel frame with a ton of ultralight carbon doodads is an interesting experiment but misses the point of steel in the first place.
