Grow up. If this is what you need to see in a cycling thread, you must have trouble finding dates in real life.
HA, well look who's mixing up their "real life" with online forums.
(Rant starts here...)
First of all, if you think seeing attractive and beautiful women should limited to a single person (i.e. your "true love", haha, sorry to break it to you) and locked between two people is completely absurd. I don't believe that even 1% of this planet's population ever stuck with the same person they dated when they were 15 (except maybe you).
Second of all, why in God's ******** name would you warp porn with real-life relationships. Can a person who's involved in a "relationship" not enjoy the pleasures of human attraction and procreation?
And finally, to answer your question, no, I certainly don't have trouble finding dates. Although, I am currently not doing so because I am committed to a relationship, but which wouldn't stop me from the freedom of life's pleasures.
So, excuse me, for exercising freedom and having a sense of humor.

Jesus, get over yourself. Why do people think their personal liberties are suddenly violated when they can't do what they want online? Get a blog.

Sorry, but I have yet to see an electroforged Schwinn that qualifies as bike porn, and these definitely aren't helping matters.

Seemed like a fair rant to me. Nothing wrong with admiring hot chicks.

Roadbike forums has a special podium chicks thread to celebrate this.

Well, they most certainly aren't anything special as far as a visual orgasm goes, however, they work great and I hardly spent any money on them. I was also the one who, after posting that, went outside and actually rode my bike. Which I think qualifies it as more porn than your bike. When you watch porn, it should make you have a wank right? Well that is what my bike does for me, when it pops in my mind, I go and ride it. So take a moment to mull this over and then ride your bike rather than being a dip****.

Don't get all hurt. My favorite bike (sadly stolen) was a Bridgestone conversion. Fantastic bike to ride about, but not bike porn. There are threads for conversions, beaters, city bikes, etc. This one is for "bike porn." If someone posted a museum piece in the beaters, I'd think it was out of place, just as those Schwinns (or my Kabuki) are out of place here.

And what the hell is with the ad hominem attack? I ride my bike all the time, thanks -- just because I don't think your Schwinn is pretty, it means I don't ride??

I agree entirely about admiring hot chicks -- I do all the time. I just don't get people being offended that they don't get to post them *here* when the mods have been very clear about not doing so. It's not like there aren't places for photos of hot chicks on bikes (and certainly hot chicks) on the internet.

Maybe it's just an unfortunate effect of the thread title. Maybe something like "bike porn -- no chicks! no *****s! it's just a clever title!" would have worked better ...

Guys, use PM's or something for your rants, lets keep this thread going.

Love seeing a beautiful bike that has been ridden hard, something about these shots caught my eye.

There is a beauty in a well weathered tool.

That is so ****** *** ******* ********** hot. That's all asterisks, btw. I don't actually have dirty language good enough for the hotness of that bike. Any shots of the whole thing?

ok, just found the actual source of the bike... turns out it is fake patina on an 80's Peugeot that was given new dropouts and some old bits...

Gallery: https://www.ollierkkila.com/Site/?pag...m=3&gallery=88

Had me fooled.

Actually, that's pretty slick if he weathered it by hand like that...

I thought there were rules on the over usage of the Star Trek Face Palm.

I am a huge anti-fake patina nazi. Mostly when it comes to motorcycles (ppl trying to make a modern custom bikes look like a well used and unrestored garage-built bikes from the 50's-60's era)..

But, I guess I can let this bike slide...

Anyone know how to make ASCII art show up right on the forum? I was going to have the Picarde facepalm ASCII but couldn't get it to work right.

EDIT: Also, while I prefer real patina of course, I'm not going to hold it against this guy because he put a lot of work into it and made it work just so. I can respect it.

It's tarck because the mash frame has sissy boy geometry for a track bike.

Nice conversion. don't see too many Varsitys looking that nice. Most have ended up in the trash.

Not on the level of the World's First Colnago, though.
