Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Bikes: Fuji Track, Half built 70s Azuki

My buddy has a Draft he bought before doing any research. It's at my house. It's heavy as ****, almost killed me one day while was taking my bike off the bike pole thingy in my house(it was on the top and made the pole fall). Components are crap and the frame is buckled and he doesn't remember being in any crashes that could have caused it.

props to SE/Fuji for actually listing the weights of the complete bikes on there. so lame when companies leave that information off.

He should of stayed away from the draft, it truly is a piece of junk. What I know now about the world of "fixed" I wouldnt of gotten the lager. But everyone has to start somewhere, the lager frame is actually not bad. I pretty much did alot of upgrading and I do really like the bike.

I saw that Bens Cycle had last years Premium Draft or whatever it's called( the Lugged Green one)...seems like a decent price (sub 400) for a lugged frame. If my old Specialized conversion ever dies I might try one out as a beater. What Bens is saying on size though seems like they run kinda small though.

Here's the same bike ala Fuji sans the brakes the SE Premium Draft has and different color scheme.

The Draft proves how a single lemon can color an entire line. People rail their asses off about the Lager when it is no worse than the POS cheap frame they are riding themselves. Some jackass on a stock Dawes cracked on my much upgraded Lager which made me laugh. He, with his spoke cards and girl jeans, had the nerve to call me a poseur while I was on my commute.

Sub $500 bikes are sub $500 bikes.

That is pretty funny considering the Lager and the Dawes SST have the same frame.

Hell, the only thing they changed was the paint job and stickers, other than that its 100% the same.

gotta admit i dont like the new color schemes, and the geo seems a bit different from my 07 lager.. ive done alot of component upgrading on my lager and think its just as decent as any of the sub 500 dollar OTPs, probably better than most considering that ive done away with nearly every stock part

I will agree and say the color schemes for 09' or terrible, they do look like wal-mart bikes. I love my 08' **** brown lager, especially with no labels. They do have cable stops though which kind of stinks, the brakes were 5 pound anchors and had to get rid of them.
