Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

The saddle angle should be pretty close to parallel with the ground.

Would you happen to live in Vancouver? I swear I saw a black bike yesterday with a slammed Zipp seatpost just like yours.

Nah, I'm from New York City, go to school upstate.

Anything wrong with the Zipp post? I picked it up off ebay for $20.

Oh, no that seatpost is great but it was weird because I haven't seen any Zipp seatposts on fixed gears around Vancouver.

At $20, that's literally a steal. Good job for picking it up.

Haha, yeah I wanted a black post to match the rest of the bike and having a fancy name isn't too bad either.

You should look into bartape while you're at it.
