Small frame - possible to fix?
I've got an old roadbike here, which is actually of kid's size (I'm quite tiny
). Do you think it's possible to make it a fixed gear? The bottom bracket is quite low...

It's a 46 cm frame with 26er wheels (sorry for the European measurements, don't know the US equivalents).
Currently I am using it on my Minoura rim drive trainer, but I'd like to make a bike for commuting out of it in spring. But since it's so small, I am not sure if making a fixie out of it would be the best idea. Maybe just a singlespeed with freewheel?

Keep it geared? I don't know. I have so many geared bikes!
SSP with a free wheel would be an option, but I'd prefer the fixed version. Unfortunately the crank's already very short... and when it get's too short it woudn't be so nice to ride, I suppose.

Bikes: 2001 Bianchi Eros, 1976 Orbea conversion
I did a conversion from a pre-converted Centurion single speed myself, its really pretty easy. So long as your dropouts are long, you'll be fine. Although I'm running a 53cm-ish frame and 165mm cranks.. its pretty cramped. I want to get a bigger track specific frame sometime soon.

they said they're quite tiny so I would assume that it fits them...

Of course it fits. I am a girl, 1,57m (must be about 5'0) and I own this bike for quite a while now. First it was my bike to get to work with, now it's on the Minoura trainer.
I already have a "bike that was meant to be fixed": a custom made white track frame, which is a bit bigger than the violet bike, but fit's, too (just to make it clear again). Nevertheless, since it's a trackbike frame the bottom bracket is not that low.
And this was my own concern. I've seen lots and lots of fixed road bikes already. As long as the drop out is a horizontal one this really isn't a big problem.
