Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I thought it was "*****", not "honkey". (And I am not even an English teacher.)

At any rate: William's retake follows.

I'm a double standard ass hole. I did not relent on dude who used the term "dink" because I grew up hearing the term as a negative slur to asians. Then again, I grew up hearing "hey whiteboy" (or honkey) which also preceded either a) asswhoopin of me b) asswhoopin of speaker, either way not really positive. In fact, I posted until I was sure that guy didn't mean it that way and I haven't seen much here nor there of him.

This happens, and I don't get the jist of it.. and I end up doing nothing but going round and round. I suck for that.
Actually I post hear all the time. Most of the times it's just me spouting crap off the top of my head.

narrow assed?

That's prolly the wierdest thing I've been called in a long time.

You got a fetish for wide asses.. or..

Well, never mind.

As for Cracker......

Let me just say that you're in for it when I get there. I"m gonna go on a tour of the PBR factory and pee in the mix. Not that it'd taste any different.

Holy **** my eyes hurt. You made me read this entire stupid thread, you ****ing Seppo Poofters.

You know, I find Mayos writing entertaining, but to have this entire thread basically about "Is Mayo racist" is pretty ****ing boring. Sure, I though his retraction was like some pro forma piece of poo, but I'm no critic, I'm not going to sit here and pic apart his writings to look for some underying tone or subliminal message. My headcold is currently preventing such time wasting efforts.

Anyway, it's more fun watching you guys foam at the mouth as soon as anything remotely flame-worthy pops up

POOFTER!!! HA! I like that word. POOFTER! What does it mean? I certainly wouldn't want to call someone a poofter out of context.

Poofter: A person who likes people of the same sex. Source: I asked my work buddies. My general rule of thumb for name calling is anyone bigger than me is called sir, anyone I can outrun or ride is fairgame.

what is all the fuss? go and out get some perspective. if you knew the area of the city he was in, he was speaking of the materialistic yuccie (young, urban conspicuous consumer). his remarks weren't racist nor anti-semetic, however exposed many others on this thread for who they really are.

mayo, your prose worked well to set the scene. do not let your positive karma be blown off course by smaller people who like to criticise instead of doing.

the second poster should have said: mayo, clear something up for us...what did you infer when making that comment instead of people presuming it for him. instead, THE MOB RULES!! i am not aware of many people who go out of their way to do good deeds, taking time out from their day while disguised as a well meaning racist or a good natured minority hater.

who are you guys crapping anyway?

Your guess = as good as mine. Never met the guy. For all I know he could be a dopple ganger of someone here, or not. But this is a photo of Mayo and the two lost boys.
