Oh believe me they were unexpected for me too! But I couldn't say no to that deal! ($60 off a friend) And I've always been a fan of Dark Green and Brown as a combo (Always wanted a car in that combo!)

Started as a stock Fuji Track...no pic from when it was new, but here it is with everything replaced except the frame and wheels. I don't know what hubs are in these wheels, but they are keepers, so I'm gonna rebuild the wheels with silver rims (aerohead, fusion or cxp33), then I think I'll be done with this one.

here's my bike as it came:

new saddle, seatpost, crankset, stem, bars

new wheels

de-anodized chainring, new tires

new bars again

there are a few more changes i want to make but probably not until the spring.

Oh I've got some evolution...
I've love this frame so much and it my most favorite bike ever because of it's versatility
1st build

For snow

Commuter

Bad Boy

Carrying Bad Boy

Speedy

After selling the Aerospokes (I loved those wheels), but went for ceramic rims because of all the weather I go through with this bike

Track mode

Big Boy (rolling on 35mm tires)

Switching cranks and wheels

That black and brown IRO is probably my favorite looking bike on SSFG, though it would look more proportional with a bigger frame. Is that cloth tape in the first picture?

Mine?! Thanks man. You're right about the frame size, although I can ride for hours and with no discomfort down-under, so I'm in no hurry to replace it. The tape in the first pic was a discontinued Fizik tape. Sadly, I completely mangled it, as that was my first attempt at bar wrapping. I tried cloth in between the brown and black Fizik tape, but it was un-schellaced, and I found it released WAY too much glue when things got sweaty. Made my hands feel gross.

oops! sorry
