Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Okay, finally had a reasonably sunny day, so here's the closeup pic of the asphalt bike highlight it's new texture.
It's hard to see, but it appears kinda crusty looking. A pic of the whole bike doesn't do it justice.

Unfortunately, the surface doesn't seem to harden all that well. The coating can be scraped off relatively easily. I'll let it sit for a week and see if it's more durable.

Man! You read some heavy double entendre into very innocent lines.
