Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

It wouldn't surprise me.

Worse yet, who wouldn't think to google a name or something. If I found something like that, it'd be second-nature for me to do a little research on how much I should ask for it.

Hahahah, "The pedals move when the bike rolls so something is wrong". I hope its real and someone gets it and has a story for it. Actually I hope its fake, because I would drive up to Seattle tonight just to buy it, and I don't want to feel like I missed out.

It's bound to be fake. If somebody was that ignorant, they'd also be asking $8,000 for the "Racing Bike", etc.

No way that's real. Nobody in West Seattle would have a silly little fashion bike like that.

I call it now, next week there will be a thread: Check out what I bought from Craigslist!!!

CL can be nice sometimes. I got a $1,400 camera lens for $200 (my offering price) in mint condition 2 years ago. Most of the stuff on craigslist is over priced or fair at best. But sometimes...

(but yeah, the safe money is on this ad being fake. Probably by a buddy or roommate playing a joke)

I got a $350 guitar for $60 and a $250 bass for $65. Some people just really don't know how much their things are worth.

This one looks like a joke though, not even on Craigslist are people so ignorant.
