mine. since ive had it replaced the fixed and single with 16t and the chainring with a 48. threw a seat i found in my friends basement and some old pedals and cages from my 64 letour . oh and found some old schwinn bars to trim and flip (or stop drop and roll, whatever that saying is). and a stem from my local charity shop along with a brake.
its not the prettiest but i LOVE riding this thing!

gonna have to try that hairdryer and cd trick to get the stickers off.

Great thread
I'm getting a 2008 model in a few weeks time, just wondering w/ the stock wheelset what would be the widest tires I could possibly fit?

My Steamroller
Its actually for sale unfortunatly I need to buy new road wheels... this sucks I love this bike, built it in the winter months to ride this season but i wont be able to afford the new wheels without selling this..
The wheels are the reflective Deep V's, gunmetal sugino messenger cranks that were a pain to find... trying to go for a gunmetal and red look

you can email me any questions at
robert.perez@royaleins.com

so i guess i'm actually ripping off the bottle opener Felt gives away with one of their bikes, but i'm stoked on this 15mm wrench i drilled holes in to utilize the waterbottle cage bolts Surly so generously included with the Steamroller. gotta figure out how to notch the 14mm side to make it easier to pop bottlecaps off with. found a set of hex bolts with holes at one end to put on my keyring to get the cage bolts out. eureka!

Ha everyone always asks about that. My roommate is nuts into tube amps and was working on it. I'm clueless what it is I think some sort of Traynor.

Surley has a small wrench , flattened on one side for your palm, and includes a bottle opener.

referring to earlier post/pic with wrench where the bottle cage should be.
