imo, you should have spent the $400 on Araya reds and durace track hubs. Would look a lot cleaner and you could probly sell the bike a lot easier. I just can;t get down with deep section rims and painted spokes and hubs.. blahhhh
I think you could get 1k for it but 800 is more fair. If I would you I'd part it out, Easier to sell and you can probly make more money if your concerned on getting the full return of the wheelset.
Anyways.. more pics!
heres a pic of the winter beater with risers.

Fair enough, the track comp is pretty slick. If you do part it out I'd be interested in the bars and maybe the front brake kit. I'll be in Tokyo mid November.
Here's an older pic. The bars aren't carbon, they just have some faux layer on them, lame but free so not so lame.

not yet done, rear wheel is my beater everyday wheel, waiting to order spokes so i can lace up my dura ace hubs to my EAI arrow rims (look like araya super aeros). dunno how much i'd run the jet on the street, tubulars can be a pain. gotta see if i can toss some sealant in.

What the hell is the geometry on that Peloton? 74/78, with a top tube 5cm longer than the seat tube? Insane.

about the whole NJS thing - i'm pretty sure NJS parts are fairly limited to japanese-only manufacturers. i think it's a way for them to highlight and strengthen japanese bike businesses with respect to the keirin racing industry. it isn't an issue of quality though.
tange / ishiwata / kaisei tubing - NJS certified.
columbus / supertherm / fairing industrial / whatever tubing - non-NJS certified, just as good if not better.
i mean, there's a REASON the '10 langster didn't get NJS certified. it's not because it wasn't up to par with standards. i'm sure specialized's designers had the NJS standards and designed to them just fine. it's that NJS is a standard for a only japanese industry based on strengthening only the japanese economy by supporting only japanese businesses. at least i think this is how it works / the reasoning behind it.
sorry in advance if i am beating a dead horse

In the past, Campagnolo made NJS certified parts.
