Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Your cat isn't going to leave you alone until you let her ride your bike.

What kind of rear hub is that?

I'm all for that type of "bike." I teach a lot of kids and adults to ride. I don't believe in training wheels. I call them deferral wheels. The idea behind training wheels is that you learn to pedal first and balance second. That's backwards.

I take the pedals off when teaching someone to ride.

Too many logos for my taste. Unless you're getting paid to display them, anyway.

I got those images from a blog called "fixed gear girl form [sic] taiwan". It's a lot of fun.
