Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind words. I'm pretty happy with it how it is, might switch back and forth between the bullhorns and the road drops/hoods. Only thing I really want to change is going back to clipless. I have the cleats and pedals I just need some shoes, I'll probably hold off for a little while on that though.
And I got the frame a few years ago as a complete that my mom saw at goodwill and picked up for me, just happened to fit me perfectly. Unfortunately the frame is nothing to write home about, hi-ten, heavy, whatever at least it doesn't look too terrible.

VISP update
OK, so not a new bike but significant changes. Gone are the 130mm bcd silver Sugino RD2 cranks, replaced by 144mm bcd black Andels with a 43T Sugino Messenger chainring. The Cane Creek Volos front wheel has been returned to duty on the Pista Concept, and I've built up a new wheel with a Velocity Escape 28 hole tubular rim with black finish and machined sidewalls, Milwaukee Bicycle Company (Ben's Cycle) high flange hubs and Sapim Laser DB Super Light black finish spokes (2.0-1.5-2.0) and Sapim black brass nipples, radial lacing. I also removed the tacky decals from the rear Cane Creek Volos rim. Since taking this photo, I've moved the seat about 1cm forward to put me in an even more aggressive TT riding position. FWIW, the Sugino RD2 cranks have been converted into a road double for use on a geared bike.

I've never seen so much chain slack in my life...and on brakeless bikes too!

How do you people track stand at stoplights with chainslack? I hate it when I can feel the slack and it makes it harder to control the bike....

Your cog is slipping.
"You people"...like we're a bunch of undesirables.
I never have any trouble trackstanding with a little bit of slack. The feeling of a super tight chain is nice but I've found it's not a very efficient way to keep things running smoothly/quietly. It also promotes premature wear of drivetrain components.

that video is the reason i built this. i was like "man, no hipsters like road bikes. i should swap my frame before everyone jumps ship in 2008."
Still kicking.

Finally finished my Schwinn World Sport conversion..
a few weeks ago i posted pics of how it looked like when i picked it up off craigslist.
I removed the cable guides etc
Stripped and repainted frame
Steel wool to the wheels, stripped the black paint on the cranks and cleaned them up decently. Rustoleum auto primer, white lacquer, clear lacquer to the frame.
Kenda gumwall street tires 27x 1 1/8
Formula Track 16t cog
GT 43t chainring *fromt my old bmx bike*
Sugino cranks
wellgo pedals
Velo saddle
Tektro front brakes
Ebay bullhorn handle bar
Ordered a few parts on ebay
Now its time to casually ride it to get my a$$ in shape til I can ride it for longer distances. oh and I need to lower the saddle just a lil bit so I can be more comfortable.
