I know theres no toe clips. Thats because they are still coming in the mail.
I hope you guys like it. I haven't even rode it yet because I completed it today. (toeclips + strap coming in) BTW, its a brand new IRO frameset.
The only replacement I want is to replace the Origin stem into a Thomson one day or a better stem. (Not anytime soon because it isn't a need)

Everyone asks me the same question but the answer is no because I didn't have time. My focus was to complete the bike first and then convert it. I'm going convert it into a fixed gear sooner or later. Its on a freewheel for now.

theoretically it should work fine. it is no difference than a jamb nut. in practice it could slip and strip the threads on your hub.
edit:
to expand further, it is rare to see a jamb nut in an application where a torsional force is applied. i would be nervous about relying on a suicide hub to skid or slow me down. yes it will and has worked, but even if it does not come loose, the sprocket could walk, bind up, and damage the aluminum threads on your hub.
jamb nut systems are more traditionally used in "pull out" applications where vibration may cause the threads to work loose.

i wouldn't be nervous at all.
i rotafix'd the cog on with a little red loctite, and then just screwed on the bb lockring
i rode for months like that with zero problems
edit: forgot to add i rode brakeless for months with the suicide hub setup, skidding and skipping every single day

like i said, it can and has worked. it can and has failed too. there is a reason track hubs are the way there are. i just wanted to give a fair warning.

My Schwinn Traveler is finally rideable and almost finished -
Now to wire up the lights and find some nice cable clamps to replace the zip ties. I also got some fold-out side baskets for the rear rack that are not on yet. The mounting of the lights may change, that was what I could do with materials on hand.
I started gathering parts for this project back in July, and I am really liking how it is turning out.
