Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Thanks for the heads up, I'll check those out!

Ahh that makes sense, I was going off information I read in an (obviously outdated) thread on here. Too bad, I was thinking about getting some decals for the frame that said "Fake" in the Pake font ;)

I was insinuating using the Veloce arms and the 39mm chainring alone in place of the stock chainring and cranks, but I think it'd just be easier to buy a full set that's made for SS to begin with. The Campys are silver anyway, and as we all know, clashing colors make your bike slower.

But man, now you got me thinking of dual cog setups... hehe. Maybe next time.

I'm pretty sure they are still selling unbranded Pake frames too. I had one of the Crosslake frames a couple of years ago and it really wasn't that bad. The "Fake" decals is an amazing idea.

Sick gearing bro. I'll have to buy your knees a drink some time (they've earned it).

its quite forward, but you cant facetiously throw out a number like that anymore since lupins frame actually at 85+ has surfaced.

Nice build...basically similar to what my Bianchi is turning into.
What BB did you go with and did you have any issues with the chainline?
