That's like asking someone how they like their Audi as compared to the Kia.

Ah yes, predictable Timbuk bashing. As soon as my 2 Timbuks wear out I'll replace with something nice, but after 12 years they still look new so I doubt it will be anytime soon.

And I'm sure there's plenty of people out there who are just as happy with their Kias.

well. probably.
but coming from a person with zero experiences with mission workshop except the pictures I see online, I'm curious to how good they are considering their price point. And timbuk2 is a great backpack, IMO. Since cc700 has both, i'm curious to hear his opinions on them.

I like those. I was thinking about looking for a nice used one to pick up for my next frame. Although i think i want something more commuter than race. Still, i dig it lots!

I had some drops in my storage room so i threw them on, do not like it at all. The bikes comfort level dropped dramatically and, imo, it looks dumb..haha. The risers are back on.

Anywho, here it is with the winter wheels / drops. After having the 700c's on it, i CANNOT stand the bike with this wheelset. Plus, the rake on my fork is crazy. Man i need a new bike quickly...haha. I'll be in San Francisco Tuesday- next Monday. Maybe i'll check out craigslist while im out there for something new. Bikes are almost non existent here in upper central Michigan.

Hey guys.

Thought I'd drop in and say I'm 99.99% better now. The docs found some liver damage but they're just gunna let it do its own thing. My kidney function is back upto like 95%, all my ribs are healed too.

Yay for modern medicine.

Glad to hear it. More importantly, how's the VISP? Just kidding. Good to have you back.

The PROBLEM is that you will use up the nice parts on a crappy frame and then they disappear when their durability reaches 0 so if you ever get a nice frame you will have to buy a new nice seatpost from the shopkeeper and they cost like 100 gold.

Wow. This just really makes me want to turn my T1 into a singlespeed.

Need to get a bigger frame first though.

The cops held it for me (which I thought was a nice move of them) while I was in the hospital and recovering on bed rest and on narcotic pain killers... so no driving. I got it a few weeks ago, the rtards left it outside in rain/snow and a whole buncha parts rusted. I'm not too happy.

I was laughing at the top tube pad.

I don't see anything wrong with wanting to use a nice seatpost.

waan - glad to hear you're doing better, bud. How's my old Kilo?

She's doing good. Sitting in my room right next to me listening to music. (not even kidding...) Come spring time (we've got like a foot of snow now) I think that will be my getting-back-into-it bike.

i hope this is sarcasm... ive got a thomson seat post that i believe is from their original release (1996) and it could be mistaken for new. my early 90s campagnolo parts also look and perform like new. "good parts" do not "disappear" and a seat post doesnt loose durability.
