@work I just got an old varsity and converted it. I had the varsity laying around and needed work, so it was pretty cheap this way.

Friend gave me wheels, and I picked up an IRO crankset. Im going to paint it soon enough. It is kind of heavy but good enough until I have more money. I just need a new seat real right now.

Its looking like I'll be in Upstate NY on Saturday. Sunday looks better weather wise anyway. I'm gonna put my vote in for Sunday.

Quick question, what are some good neighborhoods in JC to look for apartments? My roommate and I can't afford this place anymore and were thinking of moving to JC since he goes to school there. We're looking for a 2 bedroom place at $950 max. Lower would definitely be preferred. I'm guessing Grove St area is out of the question, but where else should we look into?

thats not including utilities is it? If you think you're going to pay $950 for any decent place plus utilities I'd say good luck, but you never know, im not all that familiar with JC rent prices.. I may have 2 rooms on the market at my place in Union City in a few months for around $500 a room + utilities.

Nah, it's not including utilities (I wish). I've found some places around West Side Ave/Lincoln Park for under 900, but I don't know the area at all. Seems nicer than the neighborhood we're living in how, though. Or how about the area around the Jersey City Medical Center?

Regardless, hopefully we'll be able to ride together this summer!

can't really help you there, are you talking abotu the Jersey City Medical Center or the Christ Hospital? CH is down the road from me on Palisade Ave and the area seems alright, otherwise Im new to the area as well, but Im going to start venturing to JC. I'll ask a friend too, she went to St Peters College

damn to whoever lives in Jersey City, your roads suck. I took a ride down palisade ave to newark ave, and as soon as I passed across the Holland tunnel, it all turned to ****.
