new bottom bracket - suggestions?

hey

i need a new bottom bracket for my fixed/single speed conversion bike. the frame is an old schwinn world sport which means that it's english threaded. any suggestions on brands for bottom brackets? or if i should get new cranks too?

any info is appreciated and eagerly awaited.

Bikes: 2000 Raleigh M50. 2006 Raleigh Rush Hour. 2008 Cannondale Synapse 6.

Whatever BB gets you a 42mm chainline for the cranks you choose.
