pista 09 chainring size?

im looking to get a new 38T chainring for my pista on the stock Truvativ TOURO. i cant find what size chainring fits on it though. any of you guys sure what it is? or have a link to a chainring that will fit

thanks guys, damn though, benscycle is out of them in 38t, anyone know of some other sites i could check out for some lower ratio 130bcd?

i rode my friends when i went to my moms last time and i just liked the feel of it, i can go with any tooth in that area though i dont think it matters to me that much

Bikes: A few BSO's.

Find out the gear inches of the bike you rode with the 38t ring.
Then get a cog to achieve it, not a 38 t ring. It will be cheaper and easier to find.

IMO. a little chain ring looks like dog barf.

yea i a agree a little.

also the stock chain / cog size on it is 1/8 i think? or is it 3/32?

pista's are 3/32 stock. i upgraded my drivetrain and got 1/8 whick just feels better to me. If you change your cog, you will most likely need to change your chain as well (as they generally wear together) though with an 09 you might get away with only changing the cog. Just buy a rocket ring from harris cyclery as they are only 18 bucks and that way if you hate it you wont have put too much money in.

that chainring seems to all check out. you guys think it will fit on good there no problem? just kinda worried about buying something like this online, where im staying at right now has no bike shops around me that i can get stuff like this from
