Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I know there is a pre-order on the Affinity Kissena that is supposed to open up on the first. Not sure if it's going to be much cheaper than the $800 MSRP, though.

But it's aluminum, and I'm not really wanting something quite that track oriented. It does look like a rocket, though. If it's around $500, I might think about it.

Has anyone e-mailed Affinity about a pursuit group buy? I'd freaking love that.

i've been told that affinity sells out of their frames pretty quickly, so i don't know if they'd want, or would be able, to do a group buy.

edit: somebody should still email. i'd be into that.
