Fuji Feather 2009
I don't know if they have these in other countries but I saw the new Fuji Feather today in a local bike store here in NakaMeguro (Tokyo). They look quite nice and have a lugged crown fork now.
They seem to be aiming more for the FG crowd, with track drops and deep rims (although they are Weinmans), I sat on a 54 and it felt quite nice. They cost about ¥70,000, I am looking for a cheap FG bike so might pick one up next month.

Has a cool new Fuji Head Badge

Didn't the Feather previously have a kickass headbadge with a feather across the Fuji logo? You'd think they would continue to use that awesome badge.

Just saw this...apparently the feather model track bike has been around for a long time, but only recently offered here in the U.S. I picked up a '76 model last spring, it was made in Tokyo for sale in Japan only back then. I saw the 2010 model at my lbs, it is similar to mine but has some obvious differences - modern parts of course, tigged main frame (mine is lugged), sloping fork crown (mine is flat), more gradual fork curve (mine curves near the tips). Mine has the old feather head badge also -

Also, I noticed on the 2010 feather, instead of lug nuts for the wheel axles, it has 5mm allen head nuts(?)
seemed kind of small to me to get proper torque without risking stripping the nut head...

Agreed, but I won't be trading my old one in for a new one!

Our LBS has a couple of new Feathers...they are very pretty bikes IMO but nothing special, and for the $700 that they're asking I would probably look elsewhere. Seems like they cater towards the "fixie" crowd and at least in that regard, they're pretty classy.
