Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I wonder how many people were scammed by that one thinking they're getting some higher grade reynolds but really it's just 4130.
I actually emailed Leader about that a while ago, and the reply I got was that:

"Tubing is Reynolds 853 in the top and down tube. rear triangle is Reynolds
525."

Awesome if it is, but why not start advertising that and let the sales skyrocket? Until they post it on their site, I'm not believing it. Has anyone actually bought one of these frames to corroborate this?

my guess is it's just 4130 like the alien/kazane frames and they're just putting out rumors. they'll never officially badge the frame or state it on their website/ebay auctions. they'll just float rumors until they sell the inventory of that particular HMT frame or whatever they call it...and then move onto the next as people forget about the tubing mystery.
