New fork for my unassembled bike

So a week before I fly off to sweden for 3 months I get my Kilo TT in a box with a broken fork. I'm not really into the idea of returning it or anything but would love some help on getting a new fork for it, I can't put it together till I get another. Are there any good ones worth really searching for? Someone mentioned a Soma rush threaded fork but really I'm pretty clueless. I tried bike island since they have the exact same fork but they don't ship out here. I'd really love to get it together and start biking around the city already.

Also if you guys know a good bike shop/website based in europe that would be awesome. Shipping is killer.

Shouldn't you be talking to BD or the shipping company about this?!

Maybe you can get BD to just give you a refund for the busted fork, instead of returning it and waiting for a replacement. Have you considered getting a carbon fork?

nashbar.com makes a decent affordable carbon front fork.

The first thing I would do (yes, even before posting here!) would be contact BD. Mike is a regular here on BikeForums and he's always been super easy to correspond with the times I've had questions for him.

If the bike shipped from BD and it came damaged, not contacting them is first pretty ridiculous, IMO.

I agree, contact BD. My Kilo came perfect with no issues, but I've heard of people having some problems but they always receive gratification from BD.

I've been looking at getting the Volume Fu Manchu 1" threadless fork. I know you can get that in Europe.
