BB for Schwinn Cutter

I haven't even had my bike 2 weeks, and the bottom bracket keeps coming loose. I KNOW I know what did I expect from a $300.00 bike. Does anyone know of a decent BB for this bike?

it's probably fine and just needs to be lubricated and tensioned properly

From: My response would have been something along the lines of: "Does your bike have computer controlled suspension? Then shut your piehole, this baby is from the future!"

Bikes: to many to list

Ive told a few others this before, when you get a new Madison, Cutter, or just about any new bike, you must go over it well to make sure everything is lubed and tight, my '08 Madison had everthing loose! another thing, they kinda went cheap on the Cutter and the 2009 Madisons, so be careful with it.

The BB was the first thing I replaced on me Cutta.
Replaced with a Shimano BB-UN25.

Thanks for the info. It is just loose, and I don't have the spanner to tighten it. I have the park crankarm and sprocket puller. I don't want to destroy the lock ring that doesn't seem to stay locked. Maybe some medium thread locker.
