Bikes: hot pink spicer fixie
well i suppose i'll do a small intro since i neglected to earlier..
my name is rachael. i live in atlanta. i'm pursuing a masters in social work at georgia state univeristy. prior to that, i earned a b.a. in cultural anthropology at snobby coca-cola university (that would be emory). there i wrote my senior honors thesis about decatur yellow bikes, a local community bicycle sharing program. on grant money, i checked out city bikes in copenhagen, denmark, and i also worked for the atlanta bicycle campaign for a minute as a the girlsbike! club leader and as a suitability map maker. and i used to facilitate clitoral mass, which i think i will start doing again. i ride a spicer fixie and a bianchi brava (although according to infestedguy, i'm not allowed to ride the bianchi anymore.. unless it's raining). so.. in conclusion.. i'm a tiny smart biketista who likes to organize and study things.

Hey folks--I'm Steve, A lead artist at a video game company in Austin, TX. I'm originally from Oly, WA and Seattle, WA where it rained alot. Now im in Austin and it rains sometimes.
I've been riding forever, but always on either a vespa, motorcycle, BMX or MTB. Two years ago I got the bug to get a fixed gear, so I picked a cheap one up off of EBAY. It sucked, but I caught the fever. Two years later, I decided to build my first ground up fixie conversion. I just finished it--1980s era Centurion Lemans with Mavic 3A rims, surly front and rear hubs, brooks saddle, bulls, bulletproof cranks and a 42/16 chainring/cog. It's been an experience, and we're inseperable. I ride it day and night!

I suppose I'll chime in since I've yet to do so. . .
My name is Henry I'm currently working toward a BS/A in marketing and a minor in advertising at Suffolk University Boston (soon to be Madrid). I used to work for City Express here in the city ehhh that place sends shivers down my spine. So now I tutor at the Suffolk University Learning center, no I don't think I'm smart, I just need to do something for money and they let me do whatever the hell I want. I live in a suburb just outside of Boston called Brookline it's nice, quiet, and dangerous for cyclists. For those who know Boston I live about as far from Boston as you can while still being in Brookline or close to the pond and the resivour. I live with my beautiful gearie girlfriend and 3 other friends (only one of which even rides a bike).
hmmm my bike. . . A Blue-ish late 90's khs and a couple of parts bikes.

Bikes: 80's puch 210 converted to fixed gear, late 70s/early 80s legnano, 1985-86 cw z2000, 1970s peugeot 3 speed folding bicycle and 'virginia', my coaster brake rain bike.
hi, my name is michael. i live in providence, on the west side, armory district to be exact. working at a job that pays the bills, currently looking and thinking about what exactly i really want to do. yeah so enough about me.
let's see...my bikes. first off, my fixed gear is a converted mid to late 80's puch 210, bought a rear 27" wheel from harris cyclery with the super nice iro hub. i figured it was easier to keep the bike with 27" wheels since the front was still good. right now i am running 42/15 and i do run a front brake, it is the original weinnmann with a dia-compe mx lever that i had lying around. for my non fixed bikes i have a 70's peugeot 3 speed folding bike in a beautiful almost celeste green, an early 80's legnano (love, love, love it!), a gt ricochet mt bike from the 90's, an 80's cw racing z2000 bmx bike and last but not least my rainy day bike 'virginia', a full fendered, coaster brake beast. whew! so yeah, hi!
