Need A super low profile rim

Building up a frame and i want a nice class looking wheelset like these

Anyone know a modern version?
Edit: Also anyone know what a nice looking but strong lacing would be? It would be for street use(Potholes, Curb jumping, **** roads)

Mavic Open Sport Silver is the name of the RIM. It'll be difficult to get a complete wheel new. There's always e-bay but .... your best option is having a set of wheels built. www.excellsports.com is a great builder, you chould at least check it out. They have a build your own wh. thing there. You could call them too. Mavic Open Sports and others were among the few NON-deep rims out 15 yrs. ago and one of the very last now. These days deep ones are pop.

these also just came out, a bit pricey, but they look great

and they're not just in silver, but Polished silver. Because anything can be made better by making it shinier.

Might go with the velo orange's, what about lacing wise? they come in 32H or 36 and like i said i want something classic looking but able to still hold up to harsh street riding.

3 cross for standard.

if you use 36h wheels you can go for crow's foot or 3 trailing, 3 leading.

crow's foot

3 leading, 3 trailing

I have a set of matrix titan ii rims (1 rim + front wheel complete) sitting around. they're from ~1990, and I believe they were standard equipment on a trek 400 from the same vintage. Black anodized or similar. They've got the same very low profile look.

The type of rim you're looking for is called a box-section rim, FYI. Pretty much any 80s road bike came with these, you can probably find a used pair for ridiculously cheap locally.
